Old models rechargeable battery life

With regards to the battery life for the re-chargeable batteries in the Parent Unit; when fully charged and unplugged from any power, the re-chargeable battery power is up to approx. 6hrs.

However, the re-chargeable battery power can be reduced by the constant transmission between the Parent Unit and Nursery Unit.

The Parent Unit and Nursery/Camera Unit are constantly transmitting to each other when they are switched ON as the units are monitoring temperature, movement etc.

In addition to this when the microphone in the Nursery/Camera Unit detects any noise, whether it`s your baby or background noise (even white noise) this is also transmitted from the Nursery/Camera Unit to the Parent Unit.

All these things can reduce the re-chargeable battery power in the Parent Unit and they vary per home/room that they are being used in so your friends/neighbours re-chargeable battery power will differ from yours as it is a different room/environment.

We do recommend that in order to ensure that the Parent Unit remains ON & charged when in use that you keep the Parent Unit plugged into the power.
